Governance

To promote concrete sustainability efforts as a unified group, the Group has established the Group Sustainability Committee, its subordinate Group Sustainability Secretariat Meeting, and sustainability committees within our workplaces and Group companies. Meetings of the Group Sustainability Committee, attended by the Chairman and Group CEO, directors, executive officers, and Group company presidents, engage in annual inspections and in deliberation and decision-making on next-year targets concerning group sustainability activities, everyday risk management activities, and environmental conservation activities. The Group Sustainability Committee's deliberations are reported to the Board of Directors, ensuring effective oversight of sustainability activities by the Board.
